Clinical study on male fertility
Prokrea is seeking couples who have been trying to conceive unsuccessfully for between 6 and 24 months and who are interested in participating in the EASY clinical trial.
The EASY study is a clinical trial designed to evaluate the efficacy of PKB-171 Gel, a new investigational drug for male fertility that may improve the natural pregnancy rate.
Requirements to participate in the clinical trial
Inclusion criteria
Women
- Aged between 18 and 38 years
- Regular menstrual cycles (25–35 days, with <5 days of variation) over the past 6 months
- Normal uterine cavity (transvaginal ultrasound)
- Adequate ovarian reserve (AMH ≥ 1 ng/mL, antral follicle count ≥ 6)
Men
- Aged between 18 and 50 years
- Semen analysis showing volume ≥ 1 mL, concentration >11 million/mL, total motility <42%, and ≥2% normal forms
- Additional criteria will be carefully evaluated during the screening phase.
